New website builder not working

So I used the 'new' website builder and its not posting to my website. All FTP and domain names where entered correctly. I created a subdomain just to see how it looks: http://test.jenova.rf.gd

I saw it filling the folder with files, but it wont work. Throws a HTTP ERROR 500.

Shouldn't the website builder work right out of the box? I mean, isn't that the point?

  • In any event, the Kopage website installer isn't installing my website correctly and I don't know what to do to fix it. Server cannot handle the request so I assume it's either the kopage configuration or the server itself

Of coarse it will not work cause it's using heavy scripts that free hosting can't handle.
And also this software might be using ruby or python which is also not available on free hosting!

Or this software has code that is broken or that free hosting can't handle

You may need to set your account's PHP version to 5.6 or lower. It defaults to PHP 7.0, however Kopage doesn't have support for PHP 7.0 yet.

    Thanks for that.
