Access to my site via HTTPS is very slow

I installed a free SSL certificate on my website through a third party CloudFlare. But it takes me a while to access my site with https.
Now I have redirected http traffic to https using .htaccess

Is the reason for slow access to the website related to DNS servers?

The site is quite fast for me, most likely your connection.
