I really don’t like having to go through sslforfree.com every 90 days to renew my certificates, or more often to register a new website. It would be very nice if it were in the control panel so it would be much easier to issue, and be automated, which would solve the problems of many people wanting an ssl certificate, but can’t.
We would like to offer free SSL as well, but it’s a bit complicated right now due to technical restrictions. We’re doing whatever we can!

The premium hosting from iFastNet uses the actual cPanel. cPanel just costs a lot of money, so I’m not surprised they weren’t able to implement it here. Would be nice if they could though, so that means Let’s Encrypt and CA Chain uploads for custom certs.

To be honest, the license cost of cPanel is peanuts compared to what it cost to develop this system. What makes cPanel so expensive is that it (and CloudLinux) have quite a substantial overhead per account. On premium hosting, the costs are negligible and easily covered from the payment of the customer. However, if you’re trying to host a massive number of accounts for free, the overhead adds up.
