Admins | Backup Needed

Could an Admin please start a ticket on my account as I need a full backup and can’t do it through FTP as the servers keep timing out and giving more data than there actually is in the file, would be highly appreciated thanks!

How can this be possible?

Also it looks like you are the one who is responsible of backing up your files.

I don’t understand it either and once an admin generously helped me and provided me an compressed backup of my account through a ticket

some users have such a problem
if this happens regularly there is probably a problem with router settings
things like: turned ON > Port Scan Protection, DoS Protection, NAT Acceleration, etc.

when you mentioned an FTP client
have you tried download htdocs folder via monstaFTP (client area)
if you use fileZilla( or some similar program) try to set it to use plainFTP

edit your “site” settings > encryption >use plain ftp (number 9. image)
https://help.crucial.com.au/hc/en-gb/articles/202706650-How-do-I-setup-FTP-in-Filezilla-

I have FileZilla configured as mentioned by you and have tried Monsta and the other provided file managers but it always gives me some sort of error when attempting to do this but it is only happening on this account and non of my others so thought an admin provided archive would be the best way around this…

thank you for additional information (it’s useful) and your patience
we’ll wait for the Admin

Nevertheless, thanks for your suggestions…

I’m sorry, but I can’t generate the backups for you. You should be able to get your account’s files yourself through FTP.

You shouldn’t use web based file managers to download backups, as web based file managers tend to choke on larger archives.

This seems to be the issue with all methods I attempt

How much is the size of all you files in your site?

I could be wrong but just under 200MB showed in FileZilla
