thanks, I did this. I generated the key than clicked on upload. I didn’t get any confirmation if it passed or failed. I guess I will have to wait if it worked. Thanks for your help

You can generate or upload a private key. But without an SSL certificate to match the key, you won’t have working SSL. You’ll need to get that from an SSL certificate provider. You can do that through our panel, or of course through another provider of your choice.

The certificate is not trusted in all web browsers. You may need to install an Intermediate/chain certificate to link it to a trusted root certificate. Learn more about this error. The fastest way to fix this problem is to contact your SSL provider.

Since you have custom domain, try adding your domain to https://dash.cloudflare.com/login

That’s a known limitation of the SSL system. You can just ignore it, your site will work in most browsers.
