I have one domain pointing to my root but would like to have another domain point to as different folder, is that possible?
Yes. You can host upto 3 domains with a free account.

@mrserox You can host an unlimited number of domains/websites on a single hosting account.
However hosting multiple sites on one account increase the risk of hitting resource limits.
You can have max three acc.

Sure, that sounds exactly what the Addon Domains section does. That section allows you to add your own domain names to your account, which will get their own, separate folder to upload a website to.
