Can I make a website point to different domain after I have already created it?

If I have to buy a new domain because my website domain got too expensive can I change the domain while keeping the site

Yes, just add the domain to your account and move the software or files (like Wordpress) to the new htdocs folder. Just don’t forget to update any urls in any config files!
