Can’t select database - Wordpress

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the epiz_26596676_XXX database.

  • Are you sure it exists?
  • Does the user epiz_26596676 have permission to use the epiz_26596676_XXX database?
  • On some systems the name of your database is prefixed with your username, so it would be like username_epiz_26596676_XXX . Could that be the problem?

Other Information

I manually updated my wordpress and after updating wordpress asked for language than asked for database details but I am not able to enter these details correctly.

Kindly provide website URL too?

XXX is database name that you created on your hosting Control Panel.
Example wp, so it become: epiz_26596676_wp

How can I find my database name or how to create it. Wordpress was working perfectly before I updated it manually.

Thanks, I have fixed the issue by entering the details given at http://sv1.scriptinstall.rocks/.
Step 1: Go to cpanel.
Step 2: Click on Softaculous App installer
Step 3: Click on Wordpress.
Step 4: Click on Edit Details ( :pen: ) under
Current Installations
Here you will find the database details you need.

Ok, next time during manual update be sure to not change or delete config.php file else you have to attach database again.
