Hello, I want to add a custom domain name to umart.e pizy.c om
I have changed the name servers on my custom domain to ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com since yesterday but when I try to add it as an alias, I get this error
Error Adding Domain…
This could be due to already adding the domain to this or another account or, you have not changed the nameservers as required or not enough time has passed since changing the nameservers.
Remember, you need to change the nameservers on a domain via registrar control panel BEFORE adding it to your account, it may take 24~72 hours to completely update the nameservers.:
Please verify your nameservers and/or change them to :
(The nameservers are changed via your domain registrar control panel, NOT your hosting control panel.)
Can you provide the domain that you wish to add so I can take a look at its configuration? Additionally, feel free to click the icon on any spam posts.
Although you have changed your nameservers, you did so recently. You need to give the DNS changes time to update, so try adding the domain to your account tomorrow.
Thanks
I just checked the nameservers and they are pointing to hostry.com, not to us.
Can you please change the nameservers back and then try again? But as Greenreader said, please give it some time, because DNS changes can take some time to take effect.
Please make sure that you set your domain’s nameservers through your domain registrar. Note that this is NOT the same as adding NS records to your domain’s DNS records.
Because it seems that adding the NS records to your domain’s DNS records is what happened here.
Hostry is a dns manager, you add their nameservers to your domain registrar dns then you are able to manage that domain nameservers through their service
You need to set the namservers directly to set up the account. After the account is set up, you can show your website using “A” records if you want to use a 3rd party as well.
