Can't connect to ftp?

Username (e.g. epiz_XXX) or Website URL

Error Message

Error: Could not read line from socket
(please share the FULL error message you see)

Other Information

I just changed my password for the client area and didn’t think that it would effect the ftp but it’s still showing my old password on my client summary with ftp. I tried using both old password and new, but neither work now and I don’t have access to ftp. Even downloaded FileZilla and entered details but it keeps trying to connect and then says it can’t connect to any server. Please help :frowning:

Do not use online file manager when you see this. Use filezilla instead.

Please show the filezilla logs

I tried to carry over a file quickly to see if that would work but it didn’t. Maybe what domainesia says below, might be the case that the servers are down right now

Command: USER epiz_2376****
Response: 331 User epiz_2376**** OK. Password required
Command: PASS ***********
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

Well ftp seems down at the moment. Patience…
