Can't connect to FTP

#1

i’m trying to connect to the FTP via the filezilla, i have seen the topic how to connect on the FAQ, but its still saying Could not Connect to server

#2

Can you please include:

  • What’s the account?
  • What’s the full connection log from FileZilla?

#3

The account is airgocargo.ml

Filezilla:
Status: Resolving address of ftp.epizy.com
Status: Connecting to 185.27.134.11:21…
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server

Hmm, the error implies that your computer cannot connect to the FTP server. Can you please try to open the file manager in the client area to verify FTP is working?

#5

I opened the FTP on the client area and yes its working

#6

The error means that your computer cannot connect to FTP. Can you please do a traceroute and paste the results here? That should help find any network issues. You can read how to do a traceroute in Windows here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/314868/how-to-use-tracert-to-troubleshoot-tcp-ip-problems-in-windows

Thank you. The traceroute you sent confirms my suspicious.

In the traceroute, you can see the request going through a few steps in the network of your ISP, then it dies. It never hits the “internet”.

Generally, this means your ISP is blocking the connection. Please contact your ISP to check if they know more about this.
