This same issue is happening again: https://forum.infinityfree.com/discussion/1058/cant-login-to-roundcube

The email account shows it exists but the user and password won’t work in Roundcube for the domain orchardmag.

If you have used your password on your client area or control panel well that is a wrong password,
The password for your email should be the one that you configured when adding your custom email.
EX:
[email protected] and password is 12345678
So you should use 12345678, and if you have forgotten your password you can just change it easily on the email accounts tab.

If this isn’t the case,
Try what @ateliermedia said.

Yes, I have no problem with another browser.
Guess Chrome or some extension redirects

"404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /cookies.html?backurl=http://185.27.132.238/roundcubemail/?i=3 was not found on this server. That’s all we know."

Do you have a browser plugin which might interfere with cookies? If so, that’s likely the explanation.

I’m trying to find the Chrome plugin or extension interfering with cookies.
Thanks a lot. All the best !

So…

if Chrome’s Data Saver extension is active (to use less data)

cannot access RoundCube nor Softaculous
among other options of Control Panel.

if Chrome’s Data Saver extension checkbox is Unselected

everything works fine

Thanks again for the service and support.

I’m not that familiar with Data Saver, but from what I can read about it it looks like some sort of free VPN/proxy. Login sessions for RoundCube and Softaculous are tied to a specific IP address, and (free) proxies and VPNs may change IP addresses very often.

I’m not getting that error, I’m getting “Login failed.”, after creating an account with the exact credentials I’m using to log in through the Roundcube link provided on the email accounts tab, and having no extensions enabled.

Still not working, please advise?

If you are visiting the wwbmail directly,
You must not go to roundcube directly by just typing the domain on your browser.
You must be login to cpanel first and click the webmail on the email section.
You cant just go there directly logging in with your email credentials because of security reasons!

Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I am doing. Webmail says ‘Login failed’, for any browser, any route to webmail, any email account and any InfinityFree site I own.

I just tried to create a mailbox on one of your accounts and login to it. Everything worked perfectly on my end.

Please make sure that you are using the exact email address and mailbox password to login to webmail, and watch out for additional whitespace when copying stuff.
