I have set up my site in infinityfree using WordPress but I did this before I sorted out a domain name. Now I have my external domain pointing to Infinity I need to ensure that traffic gets directed to WP.

I have looked through the guides and can’t see anything that explains how to do this. I don’t really want to install WP to the new folder and start again. Is there any way I can work around this? Can I move the WP installation to the new folder?

At the moment I have a redirect on the domain but that shows the infinityfree domain in the address bar.

First, make a copy of the WordPress files and put them in the new location, then follow the steps in teh below article to change your site URL:
