CIPHER_MISMATCH Error

Hi,

I’ve made the setup of my website 4 days ago and I’ve added a free domain name in the addon domain setting and enabled cloudflare in cpanel.
I’m still receaving the ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH error when i access my website.

Can you help?

I’m sorry, I can’t do that much to help. The SSL certificate and installation is done by Cloudflare, there is very little we can do from our end to influence it.

But it’s important to note that:

  • Cloudflare takes up to 24 hours to issue new SSL certificates for free accounts.
  • Some browsers, notably Google Chrome, tend to cache old SSL certificates. These caches cannot be cleared, and can show SSL errors even if the correct certificate is already installed.
