clave cpanel

Hi, I tried to change the password of my cpanel from my hosting and I can not, it says that the password has already been updated, but it is still the same, I want to change it because the person who gave you FTP access no longer wants access.

Updating passwords seems to work fine from here. Just go into the client area, find the account, enter a new password in the Account Password field and click Edit.

Can you please elaborate on “it remains the same”? Does the text in the field not change when you save it? Or does the password listed there not reflect the password of the hosting account?

Well friend I explain, I gave ftp access to a friend but that friend fucked the web, and I do not want to have access to ftp. So when I try to change this key Screenshot by Lightshot
please see the catch, When I give you edit, and change the password for cpanel, ft, sql. The same password remains. Nothing is updated.

For starts, let me say that the field you’re using is the right field. In that field, you can enter your new, desired password and then click the Edit button to save it.

However, I’m not entirely sure what you mean by nothing is updated here. If you type your new password in the field and then click Edit and then confirm, then click Show next to the password, do you still see your old password or the new password you entered?

Many thanks friend did not know that, I thought they give a random
