When I try to contact cloudflare it says

CLOUDFLARE ERROR : Sorry there was a problem activating cloudflare for this domain or the email address [email protected], this is normally caused by the email address or domain name already existing on the cloudflare system.

What to do?

Does it sound like you already have an account? Try logging in or googling this error message.

Like the message says: it means you cannot activate Cloudflare because the email address is already in use.

There are a couple of ways to go from here:

  • Update the contact email of your hosting account and try again.
  • Update the email address of your existing Cloudflare account and try again.
  • Add your domain to Cloudflare manually and don’t use our control panel integration.
