Cloudflare on a Free Hosting Account

Hi,

I wanna know some information about Cloudflare and free accounts.

What are the steps that I have to follow to setup Cloudflare on my own domain?

It is possible to setup Cloudflare SSL on a free Infinity Free account?

Thanks in advance.

Go into your control panel, find the Cloudflare section and click Enable. We couldn’t make it easier if we tried.

The whole point of Cloudflare SSL is that it doesn’t require any SSL support on the backend system. And we install self-signed certificates by default and have support for custom SSL certificates, so Cloudflare SSL will definitely work here.

Thanks for the repplied.

I know that in the control panel there is an option to activate Cloudflare. But, when I tried to do that I get an error message from the system.

The message is: “CLOUDFLARE ERROR : Sorry there was a problem activating cloudflare for this domain or the email address [email protected], this is normally caused by the email address or domain name already existing on the cloudflare system.”

What I have to do? I have to direct the Cloudflare nameservers to my domain using my register?

You could try that, yes.

Ok, I’m back again.

I have some questions.

I directed my domain to the Cloudflare nameservers to activate their free SSL and other options. When I use an SSL analyzer, it says that I have an active SSL from Comodo for six months (apparently activated by Cloudflare). I have tested on several websites of this style and everything looks good but I still can not see the green padlock in any web browser.

How long do I have to wait to see it?

Could you help me activate Cloudflare through the CPanel of my account, so that I can guarantee the best protection on both the Infinity Free and Cloudflare side?

Every time that I try to activate it, I get the error message that I mentioned in my previous comment.

Thank you very much in advance.

Simply getting an SSL certificate is not enough to actually get people to use it. You need to force people to https yourself. See this guide for options: https://infinityfree.net/support/how-to-force-all-traffic-to-https
