I bought my domain wich includes email, from another provider: www.aruba.it
I set up the infinityfree DNS in the control panel of my domain provider. Now my email is not working. Looking in the help of my domain provider i found that i have to add the followings records:

Record MX
name: domainname.extension
Type: MX
Priority: 10
Host: mx.domainname.extension

Records A
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.151
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.154
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.157
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.160
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.163
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.166
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.72
Host: mx IP: 62.149.128.74

I don’t find where to add the “A” records so I just added the “mx” record but I’m getting the following error from the server when trying to send email from gmail to my own email:
“DNS Error: DNS type ‘mx’ lookup of ioprogettista.com responded with code NOERROR DNS type ‘aaaa’ lookup of mx.ioprogettista.com. responded with code NXDOMANIN DNS type ‘a’ lookup of mx.ioprogettista.com responded with code NXDOMAIN”

Well, your domain can revert to the original nameservers used by your domain registrar.
Then add in the following A record pointing to 185.27.134.59 for base domain and www subdomain

@KangJL So you are saying that instead of using the infinityfree DNS, should I use my domain provider DNS and then add an A record in order to use the infinityfree hosting?

Yes, exactly.

Also, there’s no need to ping specific users, this is a community forum and there are many of us that can respond too.

Sorry, what should be the A record host name?
I have to fill these fields:
Host: name.ioprogettista.com
Ipv4 address: 185.27.134.59

You should create two, one with “@“ and one with “www”. The content of both should be the IP address of your account, found in the client area.
