Cpanel X3 Available again on InfinityFree!

My problem is solved!
If I remove https and change to http, it will sent an invalid response.
I tried to not change the https on the header, and since browsers won’t trust self signed so it won’t let me enter in the site… Unless if you make an exception, and I press make exception.
And it works! Problem solved.

Yes it’s true, it’s really the X3 design!

First of all, you browser sent an invalid response through HTTP because you were trying to access it through port 2083.
Keep in mind that port 2083 is only for HTTPS, if you want to visit it through HTTP you should change it to 2082.
Also, because you mentioned exceptions, I assume you use Firefox?

Nope I’m using Yandex

OK, it seems like Yandex is very popular this year (some people ask me to make a video about how to install Yandex).
Anyway, the thing I said with http://cpanel.epizy.com:2082, did it work?

Yes that URL supports HTTP.

thank you :wink:

it works for me (maybe because I’m an old user or a youtube partner)

please try Upload YouTube videos - Computer - YouTube Help
select the section “Trim out parts of your video”

Apparently guys someone from here reported it to iFastnet and now it is not available.
:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:
It was nice having it but anyway, we stick with PaperLantern, I believe…

@OxyDac
You could create PaperLantern v2, like you showed on your image, and make a deal with iFastnet to have it exclusively for free hosting, so that we can have our own panel!

any realtime stats spend a lot of resources
many users do not have a fast internet connection and then crazy fancy graphics it would only hurt. It is in everyone’s interest that we have a fast server and less for some hightech look. This is why many things look like a win98 interface

@OxyDac said:

That’s very true. Remember that the free hosting platform needs to crunch the statistics for millions, if not tens of millions, of accounts. And pushing metrics for so many accounts in real time brings some huge technical challanges.

I wouldn’t consider Paper Lantern to be particularly light weight, so I don’t think support for low end devices on poor internet connections was really part of the consideration.

What iFastNet does in terms of cloud infrastructure and automation is very impressive. But I wouldn’t consider end user experience to be their forte. They probably took the Paper Lantern design because it looks modern and it’s familiar to people who’ve used cPanel, not because their usability engineers and front end designers determined it to be the best way to design a panel. I doubt they actually have that kind of people to begin with.

It is more mobile friendly than X3 though!

That is, sadly, true, I believe. They did some customizations and they left it.
Also, I wonder really who reported it to them and tehy now remove the x3 theme, because until yesterday it was still here.

I did.

The old theme was explicitly removed due to compatibility issues. So that installation had to be outdated and definitely not intentional. It could have messed up your account to the point of no repair, had unsolved security problems which could compromise accounts, and more fun stuff.

Such installations are the kind which hackers are looking for to exploit and compromise the entire system. We’re all better off with it gone.

Okay, sad enough but okay. You are someone who really loves and cares about security as I have understood, and would sacrifice having an old theme to prevent hacking issues. This protects InfinityFree, iFastnet and all MOFH companies, to the sad cost of removing this theme.
I would have really no problem if iFastnet had also the option for Retro theme, which looked like x3 but it was PaperLantern, well protected with no issues.
I thought that somebody else did it, good that you said it so that I will not have to accuse anyone (not here).
Maybe I should have never posted it here, so that nobody would have found it and report it, but I should not because this is a security vulnerability and in the end hackers would have removed everything, due to my damned secret. In the end, I should be the one who would report it immediately, but I am not like you Admin.

Hello Guys,
these are the best news I have ever heard here!
Cpanel X3 Theme is available again!
To have it, you just have to go to https://panel.myownfreehost.net:2083/, enter your epiz_123456 username and password and done!
Please do not report it to iFastnet, as they will remove it, please do not be so mean, I just told this to help…

I promise you it doesn’t work.
It will just send an invalid response…
I’m okay with the PaperLantern theme.

Worked for me…
Yup, just works perfectly, try again @UnknownLolz

Does work for me but It’s doesn’t have any SSL for security while according to MOFH every reseller’s panel should automatically Install LE cert.

What? As I know MOFH does not offer LE crtificate’s for free, only on premium!
Did they cahnge their mind?

Only the cPanel link (https://CPANEL.epizy.com/)

Yes,
They only provide free ssl protection for your cpanel only, not all your website.

I don’t want a hacked or broken account.

I apologize for the evil deed.

Your data is secure on Infinityfree @Admin only transfer those data to iFastNet which is needed to connect with server. Your email, password and Name is secured to IF only iFastNet doesn’t know much about you.

I’m not saying accounts were hacked or broken. I’m just saying it’s a risk of having outdated, forgotten installations online. I don’t know what kind of installation it was and what was the actual risk. I just reported it with the question “hey, is this intentional”, which it turned out not to be.
