Hi,

I noticed there was a statement about running websites and crypto faucets. However, is it okay to accept crypto payments and/or donations?

I have two scenarios for donation/payment:

  1. via a crypto exchange such as Uphold, Coinbse, Binance.
  2. a page for direct payment to a crypto address, the page would list various addresses to which donations could be sent.

This is for open source software in the realm of edutainment.

Both should be allowed, but I would wait for Admin for 100% confirmation.

Personally I would say it’s fine. But I’m not sure what iFastNet, or their filters, think about it.

Asking people to send you their crypto could be a very bad thing in some circumstances, so I don’t know.

I do think it’s safe enough to try though.
