cURL error: Peer's SSL Certificate issuer is not recognized

Hello,
After installing the SSl certificate without any problem, and in wordpress activate the plugin “Really Simple SSL” to force all the pages of my website to be shown with https, it indicates me in the following error
“cURL error 60: Peer’s Certificate issuer is not recognized”.
According to the plugin manufacturer, it is an obsolete version of PHP and cURL, because of an invalid SSL certificate issued by the hosting provider.
They also tell me to contact my hosting provider (infinity free), to update it.

Could you please give me a solution to this problem? Thank you very much.
Greetings

What is showing this error exactly?

The reason you see this error has to do with the lack of support for CA chains on free hosting in combination with our free SSL certificates. Because of this, most servers won’t be able to verify that the SSL certificate on your site was issued by a valid certificate provider.

And the explicit solution is…?

I don’t know, I don’t use that plugin. Maybe someone else knows?
