Is it possible to edit the “Directory Listing” page code? It doesn’t fit very well on mobile.
No, but it is not meant to show to your users either. You can just create an index.html file with a bunch of links that works as a directory if you want it customized.

I need to learn a bit more HTML before I can do that. 
Just make a list, it’s quite simple!
