I don’t see any option to define which type of encryption is used for SMTP. With port 465, you should use SSL. And you could also try port 587 with TLS/STARTTLS.

Does the Mail Protocol dropdown have any other SMTP flavors?

Can you try to use port 587(TLS)…
And try using smtp.google.com

I am still confused,how did you succeed in OC installation?

Normally, just use 2.3.0.2 version, it set’s up normally.
