Domain showing incorrect directory

Hi there,

I have a Prestashop Installation which I built under the domain of: http://judge-and-stoker.rf.gd/build/

I have purchased a domain name: judgeandstoker.com - through GoDaddy
The name servers for the domain have been changed to:

The domain appears to be pointing to the host. But it is not showing the correct directory. Instead, it displays ‘Parent Directory’

You can navigate through to the /build/build directory, but when clicking on this it displays the default InfinityFree ‘lets make something awesome’ page.

I have changed the default directory in Prestashop to “/” and set a 301 to force the judgeandstoker.com URL to display in the browser.

Unfortunately I can no longer access my site at either URL. Not too sure what to do!

Thanks in advance

Hi,
You should move your files from http://judge-and-stoker.rf.gd/build/ to your new domain.

I have logged in via FTP and moved by files into:

judgeandstoker.com/htdocs - my site is still inaccessible. Could you let me know what I’ve done wrong?

It’s because you have installed your website in a subfolder.

This is where it is working:
http://judge-and-stoker.rf.gd/build/build/
And you should move this to:
http://judge-and-stoker.rf.gd/

Apologies but that’s not correct.

My website was initially built at http://judge-and-stoker.rf.gd/build/

I moved the files from there, into the ‘htdocs’ folder of my new domains directory as instructed on InfinityFrees support docs.

My new domain is judgeandstoker.com

Hi,
judgeandstoker.com/build/build/

Is working fine at my end.

You should move all your sub files to your main root folder.lbif you want it to show directly when someone visits your website judgeandstoker.com

I checked your account, and I think I can see what happened.

judgeandstoker.com is currently registered as Parked Domain on your account, on top of judge-and-stoker.rf.gd. As you can see from the Addon Domains page, the directory for judge-and-stoker.rf.gd is htdocs, not judgeandstoker.com/htdocs.

As I see it, there are two ways to fix this:

  • Remove judgeandstoker.com as a Parked Domain and add it as an Addon Domain. That should point the domain to the directory judgeandstoker.com/htdocs.
  • Fix the directories for judge-and-stoker.rf.gd. That should fix judgeandstoker.com as well.

Thanks very much for all the help here! I think I got the Parked and AddOn domains mixed up. I’ll try this shortly and let you know my results.

This solved things perfectly - thanks again for the help!
