Error! An unknown error ocurred during authentication

Normally, when I click the ‘Go to File Manager’ button on my account dashboard, it opens Monsta FTP in a new tab and auto-logs-in. But today, if I do that, an authentication dialog appears on the Monsta FTP screen. If I enter the website/FTP username and password given to me during registration, it says ‘An unknown error occurred during authentication’. If I try multiple times, it says ‘Error!’
What should I do? Help please!

FTP service is down

At this moment, we’re experiencing a system causing FTP services to not work and many websites to be unreachable.

Please do not create additional forum posts, submit support tickets or send emails about this. We are aware of the issues and are working to get them resolved as soon as possible.

What are the symptoms?

  • FTP service returns “Connection timed out” errors.
  • File Managers (and other services relying on FTP) don’t working.

What caused this issue?
