Why do you need to use those functions? Sleep() only keep processes alive, and you cannot set the time limit on free hosting.
As a fair usage restriction, it’s not possible to increase or remove the script time limit

Well, maybe if release the sleep function, it would help me a lot.
I’m sorry, but this is free hosting and you cannot expect everything to be available to you. If you take a look around Google, there may be another way to do what you wish to do. (Or you can tell us here, we may be able to help)

No problem. Just note that the Admin is going to tell you the same thing. Those functions are disabled on free hosting, and cannot be activated upon request.
