Error uploading 20MB phar file

Continuing the discussion from Loading phar as a library:

None!

Other Information

when I upload a phar file (sized 21434435 bytes = 20.4MB) I see the file is uploaded fine (at least, the file manager/ftp app does not throw any errors)
when I refresh the file list afterwards there is no such file

Max upload file size is 10 Mb.
If you need more, upgrade to premium hosting
