Hallo,
I use a WYSIWYG html editor (NetObjects) which has an integrated ftp client.
When I try to upload, it asks me server name (www.ftpupload.net, I suppose), but also the directory, and later on, something called ‘Live URL’.
Could somebody tell me what I’m supposed to fill in in those 2 fields ??
Thanks
Collin
On “FTP Host”, put ftpupload.net
, or if it doesn’t work ftp.epizy.com
.
On “Directory”, put /htdocs
.
On “Username” and “Password”, put the username and the password you can find by logging into your Client Area, selecting the hosting account that also contains your domain, scrolling down to “FTP Details” and clicking on “Show/Hide” to show the password.
On “Live URL”, put http://yourdomain
, where yourdomain
can be replaced with your domain. Doing that, after the upload process is finished, the browser will open with http://yourdomain
, where yourdomain
can be replaced with your domain, as address, and show the results.
Ok, thanks a lot.
Still doesn’t work, I will look further for the problem.
Regards
Collin
