The file manager uses the same FTP server as the one you’re connecting to. So if the file manager works, you’re pretty much guaranteed that the FTP server itself and your account on it also work.
Given that you get a connection timed out, I would guess that it’s a connection issue on your end.
On the other hand, looking at your domain name, please note that our FTP server is for website administration only. Using our FTP server as an IOT data reporting server is not allowed. So if you have some system constantly uploading power measurements to the server, that IP address could have been rate limited and blocked due to the large number of connections.
If this is the case, this is not a server “issue”, because our security measures are working as intended. You should not be using our FTP server like this, and our system stopped it like it’s supposed to.
