Generate free (and valid) HTTPS with Let's Encrypt

#1

Hello,

I notice that by default with have a auto signed certificate which is a good thing. I just wondering if it will not be easier for everybody to generate a valid HTTPS certificate for free thanks to Let’s Encrypt (https://letsencrypt.org/getting-started/). Of course let the user be able to upload their own HTTPS certificate if they want to, but provide for people that don’t really know how to handle HTTPS a way to easily have a proper HTTPS on their website (especially that it will come more and more a minimal requirement for website).

Let’s Encrypt is not supported at the moment. Their domain validation system does not work with our hosting system and their rate limits make it impossible to integrate with free hosting.

That’s so bad for me. My webapp using geolocation, it require HTTPS to work. I may take a premium account for having let’s encrypt but on hosting24.com I don’t see any things related to that.

Why are you asking about the features of a third party company on this forum? Hosting24 has a help desk (with live chat even), they can answer your questions regarding their services!
