i want install gnu social via softaculous but im seeing this error:

The following errors were found :

Could not make the query numbered : 48
MySQL Error No : 1071
MySQL Error : Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes

That error means that the software requires the InnoDB database engine to run, but InnoDB is a premium only feature. In short, it means that you cannot use GNU Social on free hosting.

I believe Softaculous allows you to select the version to install. Maybe you can try some different, older versions and install one of those instead.
