[Guide] Used Domain doesn't seem to point to this FTP account (Kopage SiteBuilder) [Guide]

There are some people having trouble with the vPanel Kopage Sitebuilder,
The issue is the sitebuilder always say:
Used domain (domain example), doesn’t seem to point to this FTP account.

But I have found a way why this always occur:

First of all don’t use your client area username (e.g. user), use your vPanel username (e.g. epiz_12345678).
Second, in the Domain Name part don’t use 185.27.134.11 or ftp.epizy.com or ftp.yourdomain.tld, you should put your domain name there like mydomain.tld.
Third, put your email address.

*If unsuccessful:
First, all the files that the sitebuilder put into your directory should be deleted,
The kopage files should include this:
admin, inc, index.php and etc…
Second, Go back to kopage and try again

*If want to request you to upgrade pro version or it has watermark:
I don’t know but I think Admin can help you with this…

I tried this. This is what I got.

Admin told me I am SUPPOSED to put in the IP address or ftp address.

Now we aren’t supposed to?

Who am I supposed to listen to?

And EVEN YOU SAID SO IN THAT THREAD.

WHAT.

@Jenova Sorry it was my mistake…
Try this and it will work and I also use this method for awhile now without any issues about “This domain doesn’t seem to pint to this FTP account”

Now I get this when I try:

I think something is wrong, configuration side.

@Jenova the only problem there is it did not created the data folder as what I see in your picture… So you can try again!
It even happens to me too!

I did it three times.

Well, actually
I do not go to support in this kind of situation,
My method is trying to test your site if it has worked after the installation

And also if you see message of the site that doesn’t mean it has failed, it shows you the progress of the installation!

Please try it back again!

I can understand the confusion, but what @UnknownLolz wrote about the domain name is right here.

What’s supposed to happen is, you need to enter the details specific to your website:

  • Username
  • Password
  • Domain name of your website
  • Optional subdirectory

The FTP hostname should be set correctly by us. It’s the same for all accounts anyways, so there is no reason why you would have to enter it yourself.

And if you would be required to enter an FTP hostname, at what part would you specify which of the multiple domains on your account should get the new website?

The FTP hostname is needed so the website can be uploaded and you can use the FTP credentials to login the website later on. The former already works, the latter doesn’t, due to so far unknown reasons.

Possibly, but the builder code is encrypted and sparsely documented, so it’s impossible to figure out why it breaks.
