resetting my file manager would be better, thanks

that doesnt work, i deleted everything but i want the default .htaccess file back

and it still shows a weird webpage on my site after doing all that as well

If you connected the domain to your new account, it can take 72 hours before every thing begins to work properly.

when i upload files via FTP, i have a folder called app and then htdocs. Do i upload the files here in htdocs?

i dont understand what a root server location is where, most of them say to place the files in the root directory

Known as htdocs here
