Please can you inform me on how to backup a full Wordpress website? I tried downloading a backup plugin but it is apparently not the recommended route to backing up so I didn’t use it.

You can go to the file manager and download the theme + plugin folders and the config files.
Oh ok thanks! What about the posts, pages, their accurate dates etc?
You will also have to export the database from phpMyAdmin to have the posts and other things backed up.
