Hello Everyone
I am trying to upload an exe file so users can download it but I was prevented for security reasons
so I added define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true); in wp-config.php
which allowed me to upload the file but whenever I click on it I am getting error 403 as shown in the image . any idea how to enable uploading zip, exe or any format without getting this error
You can’t upload such file here. This is website hosting, not file hosting.

I have already uploaded files before like pdfs and others so it is allowed
You need to read then
.exe files are banned for security reasons.
If you want to distribute files, please use a file hosting service for that instead.
So there is no chance also to upload a zip or rar file into my websites as well despite using define(‘ALLOW_UNFILTERED_UPLOADS’, true)

You cannot upload and distribute files because that is file sharing. Please see Section 6 of the TOS:
- upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise material for the purposes of file distribution, relay, or streaming reasons.
