Hi,
I apologize for the dumb question. I’ve already tried to search the forum but didn’t find anything that worked for me.
When I try to access the https version of my domain https://www.annotatecvc.epizy.com
my browser (chrome, but firefox just does the same) warns me for certificate issues and the https in front of my domain in the url bar gets red. How can I update the certificate from the cpanel to make it green?
I’ve seen everywhere on the web that you can do that for free on websites like https://www.sslforfree.com but at some point I get an error (it says “challenge failed”).
SSLforfree.com uses Let’s Encrypt, which can’t be used here due to technical restrictions. However, you can upload your own certificate through the SSL/TLS Manager in your control panel.

Do you suggested to use other than SSLforfree? Any other example if SSLforfree not compatible?

In terms of free SSL, I would have recommended StartSSL, but their certificates are not trusted by browsers anymore.
For paid certificates, literally any certificate provider out there would work since they all use email verification instead of website verification.
