well after fighting with through the oceans of crap that you have to deal with if you want to host here, i have decided that i no longer wish to host here, but when attempting to delete my whole account, i get a 404 error and yet here my account remains

Where do you click that generates this 404 error?
I see you still have an active hosting account. Note that you cannot delete your client area profile unless all hosting accounts have been deleted first.
