While working on your website, you may be redirected to the
InfinityFree 404 error page. This article explains why this typically happens and what you can do to fix this.
Why do I get a 404 error
When you try to access a file on a website, the server tries to find the matching file to load. By default, it works like this.
Suppose you have a website http://example.com which is linked to the folder htdocs in your hosting account. If you then try to load a certain URL, like http://example.com/bl…
Is the domain you provided the domain you signed up with? If not, you’ll need to place the files in the
Please provide as much information as you can. We can’t help you if we don’t know what’s going on.
I`ve read this article before and nothing helped me. I created account with another domain and than added codexp.pp.ua within deletin original domain.
Upd: my site now redirects to ‘suspended website.com’
Upd: my site now redirects to ‘suspended
i tried to move my domain to another account and this happens
Are you placing the contents of your website in the
codexp.pp.ua\htdocs folder then? If it does not exist, you’ll need to create it.
That is natural when moving accounts. Your site is now giving me a 404 error again, so check that your content has been uploaded in the correct folder. Can you provide a screenshot?
Wow. It now again redirects me to
We couldn’t find that page.
and some text in index.html
Could that be problem of my browser or pc?
Can you screenshot your ftp root?
Probably. Try switching device / network / browser, use the 126.96.36.199 dns, or use a vpn.
The site works fine now. The reason you (and I) are getting a strange 404 error most likely has to do with DNS cache. Try purging it, or visiting your website via a VPN/Tor to confirm it’s working properly.
The advice in this article applies, since you moved accounts:
If you’ve just created your account, or just added a new domain name to an account, you may be surprised that you are unable to view your website when using the domain. Instead you may see:
An advertisements page, with ?z being added to the URL.
An error saying “This site can’t be reached”.
This is usually caused by a system called DNS Caching. This article explains how DNS Caching works, why your website isn’t up yet and what you can do to see your website right now.
When will I be able to…
This should no longer be needed, as the domain was moved to a new account and is now using the root
htdocs folder of that account.
okay thanks guys , It works fine with VPN
