Hi… I have the same question . i changed my url from my dashboard and now i am not able to get my site.
I am in trouble and couldn’t get help.
Please help me
I tried to get it through phpmyadmin. But I am not getting the “url” action in the table.
I was using a free domain as www.theengineeringcomponents.ga
I bough a new one and set it from my GoDaddy account.
www.theengineeringcomponents.com
I am a newbie, I changed the url from the dashboard
Now both these url connect me with my .com site… But I am not able to log in to my wordpress website.
Yeah…it loads. But the admin page is not accessible.
How can I get my admin page… I write /wp-admin.
But it gives me 404 error.
Did you do anything to .htaccess
or wp-config.php
? Or change permissions, add/remove dns records, etc?
To regain access to your WordPress admin area, you can do the following:
- Login to your client area, find your hosting account, click Manage and then go click Control Panel.
- Go to phpMyAdmin, find your WordPress database and click Connect Now.
- Find the table with the name ending with
_options
and click on the name. - Find the rows with the column
option_name
matchingsiteurl
andhome
. These should be the first two in the list, but you can use the Search function if you can’t find them. - Double click the value in the
option_value
column, and change the URL
Omg … I found it thank you …
But now how can I save it. I am not getting the save option.
No.
I followed the instruction from GoDaddy to set my domain. Then changed the url from dashboard. It was my mistake.
Now, i can open my site as www.theengineeringcomponents.com but I am not able to get my admin board.
My site is stuck in between these 2 URLs.
Can you click on the go button?
It working … Thank you so so much…
God Bless you. Thank you.
