Additional information: i cannot even extract the zip files of the plugins in the file manager
Try to extract the zip files of the plugins on your computer and upload the plugins folders on htdocs/wp-content/plugins with an FTP client, overwriting the old content with the new one.
its not uploading completely and just stops automatically
Don’t upload the plugins with WordPress tool, otherwise it just stops! Follow my steps, but first configure FileZilla with the FTP credentials!
