Hello, I am currently getting a DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error for the http extension site I was able to access yesterday. Best regards,

Like the article says: it can take up to 72 hours for your domain name to start working everywhere.

Your account is less than 72 hours old, so it may not work everywhere. See the article for more info.

I’m 100% sure that this is DNS propagation. The error message clearly says it’s a DNS issue, which means it cannot be an SSL, HTTP or HTTPS issue.

hi 72 hours have passed but I’m still getting the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error. Could there be another problem? Yours truly

provide your website url?

Are you sure you’ve done setting up nameservers?

Your domain has no nameservers, that’s why you’re seeing this error. Freenom is quite glitchy nowadays, you shouldn’t really use it, nic.eu.org is a better alternative imo.

But my alternative CanterHost domain hasn’t approved for so long :frowning:

I can confirm what @anon19508339 said:

One of the symptoms of the issues at Freenom is that the Nameserver settings just don’t work. Yes, you can set the nameservers in Freenom’s panel, but if Freenom doesn’t actually configure the nameservers on your website, the domain won’t work.

So I have no doubt that you’ve set your nameservers correctly at Freenom. But Freenom broke your domain, so you need to contact them to fix it, or use a different domain name provider.
