Please note that to renew an SSL certificate, you need to get a new SSL certificate, and install the new certificate as well.

The creation and expiration date of an SSL certificate are baked into the certificate itself. This is why it’s not possible to renew the certificate in-place. You must install the existing certificate with a new one with the newer expiration date.
