Index.html not properly launched

Hi there!

Sorry for disturbing you with a simple question…

I have uploaded my website via FTP, removed the Index2.html file and included my Index.html file…

However, if I go to my website address (i.e., http://arelia.epizy.com/) there is just the directory listing…

In other words, the website does not launch the Index file, whereas if I manually point at it (http://arelia.epizy.com/Index.html) it works perfectly…

Could you please assist me to solve this issue?

Simply rename Index.html to index.html And it’ll work

You can rename Index.html file to index.html, or you can use .htaccess:

DirectoryIndex Index.php Index.html
