I want to start my site with index.php but it only works with index.html, if I put index.php it’s like there’s no index file
Please make sure that you name it index.php. If that still does not work, open/create your .htaccess file and type DirectoryIndex index.php.

but the .htacess file is in an area where uploading is prohibited, before the htdocs folder
.htaccess should be in the htdocs directory. Create one if it is not there

index.php should already be recognised. If its not, make sure the file is in the root directory “/htdocs” and it titled “index.php” (Without the quoats.
