Inform subscribers when systems are up & down

Glad to see that I’m not the only one having database problems today!

Can the support team put a top bar on the website in order to inform us when a critical problem is happening and when the issue is fixed (servers up) so that we don’t waste a lot of time trying to find out what happens!!??

It’ll bring a relief to everyone.

That is a good idea, and it does appear if Admin is online. Unfortunately, only Admin has the ability to do that, and it is late at night in his time zone

I knew the issue was going on but I neglected to properly announce it. That’s my fault and I’m sorry for it.

That said, it’s usually quite easy to tell when there is an issue because of the large number of topics about the same issue. So you can usually figure out the details by just checking some of the more popular topics. Posting another topic asking the same questions a dozen of other people have already created topics for is not helpful.
