Installing WordPress messed up my whole site

I tried to install WordPress on my site but everything got messed up. Please help

The blog installed into the main directory and started showing as the home page.

So you want a customize-able homepage that doesn’t show your latest posts?

Settings > Reading. Now assign a page that will be your homepage.
