After installing clean wordpress through the Softacolus installer i go the the site to login but it does not look like wordpress is there, looks like some shady frontpage with adsence links??

Is the account new? If so, just have patience. While we set up accounts within minutes, due to DNS propagation, it can take up to 72 hours for the new website to be visible everywhere. You can learn more about that here: https://infinityfree.net/support/why-doesnt-my-domain-work/
