Hi

Is it possible to support Let’s Encrypt on Infinityfree?
I ask this because I always get an error when Certbot tries to validate the ownership of the domain. I read that this was because of the anti bot-system. Admin, can you maybe add support for Let’s Encrypt because the free certificates from StartSSL (StartCom) are not trusted anymore by big web browsers.

Let’s Encrypt support is already on the wishlist. However, as you’ve already experienced, the verification system doesn’t work with our servers due to bot/hotlink protection system. We’re still looking for a way to provide free certificates properly.

Longer, probably. It requires either significant changes to our security measures or to Let’s Encrypt’s verification system, neither of which are likely to change fundamentally soon. A new free certificate provider we don’t know about yet would work too.
