Looking for a flat static html website builder (free)

does anyone know of a nice (and free) website builder that can generate static html files I can upload to my hosting

something with a gui drag and drop kind of thing

CoffeCup.com offers a free version of their HTML editor. It not to bad, in fact it’s pretty good.
This is the link to get their free editor and the full paid version is only $39.00.

Do you mean Dreamweaver? That is nowhere near free.

If you don’t mind the branding (Although it can be removed), Mobirise is an OK choice.

omg i have an old dreamweaver 8 that i paid for back in the old days on backup drive from about 2009 lol

it installed but i have no idea what im doing :rofl:

but at least one of the starter pages loaded without an issue

Oh that’s why. If it was 10/11 I would be so surprised I would have to download a copy of it myself. Mainly because there are so many Adobe products that don’t work on 11 now.

you could run windows 7 as a virtual machine in windows 11 :joy:
