The issue, for at least some of us, is much bigger than a server at max capacity. I’ve been trying to log in to the FTP every now and again to see if it’ll let me, and in the welcome message I noticed, and in below post documented, the # of concurrent users going up and up over time. It was inevitable how things were going that we’d hit the 6900 if they didn’t fix the underlying issue earlier (it’s been 7-8 hours now). What I think is happening is that login attempts are hanging for some people when the password is sent, causing the FTP session to linger until some timeout related to the TCP session expires as opposed to a graceful disconnect by the client.
When i am trying to log in to file manager from the Infinity server, I am getting Error Could not read line from socket and when I am trying to connect from FTP it is not connecting.
Other Information
I tried using other ftp clients also but it is not connecting.
I can’t upload files, because an error comes up “could not read socket”
Everything was fine until yesterday evening. It worked during the day, and I hoped it would today, but no.
I go into your Control Panel and the Online File Manager and it’s normally easy.
I need to access it, but if FTP is just down for a short time, just say so
